Share
In this blog post, let me teach you how to lower the opacity of a layer in Procreate. It’s easy to learn how to change the opacity of a layer in Procreate.
Let’s get right into it.
To change the opacity of a layer in Procreate, go to the Layers menu. Do this by clicking the overlapping squares, which are towards the top of the screen, to the right. Make sure the layer you wish to change opacity on is selected (the layer will be blue). Click the N on the layer, which will bring up the blend modes. Doing this will also bring up the opacity slider for the layer. Slide the blue dot backwards to lower the opacity of the layer. Then, click the layers button to save the opacity of the layer.
That’s all! Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed this blog post, will join our email list and read our other blog posts. Also, check out our digital brushes for Procreate. One of them is below.
