How to Move Something in Procreate

How to Move Something in Procreate

How do you move things in Procreate? If you want to move objects in Procreate, here’s an easy, step-by-step way to do that. So, without further ado, here’s how to move something in Procreate.

1. Choose a layer

With this method, you can only move things that are on the same layer. Whatever you want to move, make sure you’re on the same layer as it. If there are multiple things you want to move, and they’re on separate layers, you have two options; you can repeat this process for those things separately, or you can merge the layers featuring those things.

2. Select

Tap the Selection tool (looks like a twisted S in the top left corner of the screen). Now select the things you would like to move (tip: if you want to move all of the contents in the layer, don’t select anything, just move on to the next step).

3. Transform

Tap the Transform button (the button to the right of Selection). Now, move the selected items to wherever you want them to be (tip: if you have selected more than one thing, you can’t move them in separate directions. If you want to move different items in different directions, you will have to repeat this process).

4. Save

Tap the transform button to save your changes.

That’s all you have to do to move something in Procreate!
